The airline revealed that this complimentary, “fast and dependable” connectivity provision through the satellite provider becomes available for customers flying economy, business, or first class from soon.
Broad Implementation Over Multiple Airlines
The umbrella company of British Airways, IAG, announced it had secured an agreement with Starlink to offer connectivity coverage across more than 500 planes across the group's airlines, which also include the Irish airline, Iberia, and the low-cost airline.

British Airways noted that this implementation of the technology was part of a multi-billion pound “modernization” plan that will deliver uninterrupted connectivity service for passengers starting at boarding through landing, even when they are flying across seas and remote regions.

Present Internet Offerings
Basic internet service remains available for British Airways flyers across nearly all of its planes via its .air platform.
